Umar Autos is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Car Mechanic to join our dedicated team. As a Car Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, installing, and repairing various components in motor vehicles. Your role will involve collaborating with management and fellow mechanics to conduct diagnostic tests, listening to clients to understand their vehicle’s history and concerns, and performing preventive maintenance tasks. This position includes test drives, inspections, and identifying faults to ensure efficient repairs. Additionally, you will handle tasks such as system maintenance, replacements, and related technical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify issues with vehicle components.
• Maintenance and Repair: Perform maintenance tasks, repairs, and replacements on various vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Client Interaction: Listen to clients to understand their vehicle’s history and concerns, providing clear explanations of necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Preventive Maintenance: Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles remain in top condition and prevent future issues.
• Test Drives and Inspections: Conduct test drives and detailed inspections to identify and rectify faults, ensuring efficient and effective repairs.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize your technical skills to handle complex tasks related to vehicle technologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a car mechanic with a strong diagnostic skill set and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with management and fellow mechanics.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and handle complex repairs.

Work Schedule and Compensation:

• Work Hours: Full-time, 37.5-hour workweek.
• Salary: £38,700.00 per year, dependent on experience.
