Umar Autos is seeking a skilled and articulate Auto Electrician to join our garage team. As an Automobile Electrician, you will play a crucial role in inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, installing, and repairing vehicle components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify issues with vehicle electrical systems and components.
• Maintenance and Repair: Perform maintenance tasks, repairs, and replacements on various vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Client Interaction: Listen to clients to understand their vehicle’s history and concerns, providing clear explanations of necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Preventive Maintenance: Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles remain in top condition and prevent future issues.
• Test Drives and Inspections: Conduct test drives and detailed inspections to identify and rectify faults, ensuring efficient and effective repairs.
• Car Body Repair and Maintenance: Handle tasks such as car body repair, exterior cleaning, and painting.
• Repair Estimates: Create repair estimates, discuss options with clients, and ensure compliance with regulations by examining internal systems.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an automotive electrician with strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with management and fellow mechanics.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and handle complex repairs.

Work Schedule and Compensation:

• Work Hours: Full-time, 37.5-hour workweek.
• Salary: £38,700.00 per year, dependent on experience.
